New Lens!
I went out and brought myself a 50mm f/1.4 lens, and it is brilliant. Not even all that pricey – everyone should get one! These are just me mucking about really.
The kitty is called Merry, the other woman in my life. I’m not sure who demands the most attention..
Junior Nationals
The best gliding competition in the UK!
Well, the most fun at least. 50 under-25’s compete for the top spot; with lots of amusing social interludes on the rainy days. I was flying my beautiful Pegase, G-DEVO. I didn’t win :
Secret Garden Party
The Secret Garden Party is a festival near Huntingdon that the good lady and I went to this summer. It was really, really good fun – the emphasis is as much on the the visual arts as the music; these few photos don’t really do it justice but here they are anyway!
North Landing
North landing is a beach in yorkshire; it was a really horrible grey day so I was disparing a little – but I was actually quite pleased with the results.

I was up north for a gliding competition ( I didn’t come last, woo*! ), with my good lady Gill in tow as crew. We wandered off for an evening and here are the results; I like the poppy.

Adam & Fi’s Wedding
My two friends Adam & Fi got married this summer, and I appointed myself candid photographer. If you know Adam & Fi, the whole set is up on Facebook; these are the few I thought were worthy of showcasing as pictures for pictures sake, rather than just because we know the folks in them

Sunset in Granchester
I roped in my housemate Sharon, fellow photographer and actual arts student. We went to down to Granchester meadows to try and catch the nice light as the sun went down.
